Where to Do It?

Family articlesWhere to Do It?

Let your venue dictate your theme wedding! When planning a theme wedding, one of the best ways to incorporate a theme is by selecting your location.

There are endless locations where you can hold your wedding.

Think outside of the box and try some unusual attractions instead of the traditional community hall or hotel. Here are a few suggestions on selecting your location:

¤ Are you in love with twinkle of the cityscape lights at night? Try holding your wedding in a skyscraper! Many

buildings have corporate rooms that you could rev up for your wedding.

¤ Are you a book worm – did you meet your fiancé at school? What about holding your affair at a library? You are sure to find an “aisle” you can parade down.

¤ Is your idea of a great night out a dinner and a movie? Hold your wedding at a local movie theatre. Try finding an older theatre with some character or a huge theatre like an Imax. Get married right on stage!

¤ Do you have a love of golf or bowling? Get married right on the premises! Walk down the first tee or down the bowling lane into your loved ones arms.

¤ Is there a historic building in your area? Check out your local listings for buildings or restaurants with some

“haunting” effect.

¤ Love the thought of travel; jetting off into the sky. See if you can hold your wedding in a local airplane hanger.

¤ Other places to consider are: Beaches, Gardens, Plantations,

Vineyards, Parks or Zoos!

Anything can work just use your imagination and go for it!
