Is The Beauty Glow Gone?
Oh what's a girl to do? Fake it. Bronzer There are a million and one products out there to help achieve that tanned skin, but not very many to keep it. So as any good makeup artist will tell you, just fake it. With makeup that is and a few beauty secrets added, just for good measure. To start of with: Golden face: To keep that tanned face is the easiest. As the nights get colder, we cover up clothes wise, so all we have to worry about is our lovely face. To keep the glow, dilute your bronzer or darker foundation with moisturizer. It'll soften the color abit so you'll still look tanned, just not as much. Want to go to a lighter foundation color? Just go with one that matches your skin color now, but to warm it up, sweep a bronzer powder on the high points of the face. Shimmering ones actually make the skin look dewy and darker. Tops of cheeksbones, across the nose, eyelids and the tip of the chin keep it real. And skip the forehead. It's the first sign of a 'makeup' tan. Bronzing Powder Want to avoid your bronzer? Then just switch to warmer colors in your makeup routine. Any color with a orangey brown or tan color will give the 'illusion' of tanner skin. Try it with your blush and lipsticks. To compliment the warmth, add a shimmering eye gloss and glossy lips. Just the thing to remind you of that tropical vacation you should have gone on. remember: Flushed cheeks in cherry blushes are for winter, while bronze or orangey cheeks keep the glow going for summer & fall. Want to keep the glow going? Mix a bit of shimmer lotion and a few drops of self tanner into your body mosturizer. Apply, blend well and wait a few hours. Viola, a fresh shimmering body glow. One that looks glowy and slightly tanned. Remember, we're not looking for that bahamas tan here. Don't need to add any color? Then just apply a shimmering bronzer or a shimmer body lotion to your skin. The glow will emphasize the skin making it look a tad darker, not lighter like you would expect. When the sunlight (or candlelight depending where you might be) hits it, your body will look radiant.
