How to Communicate with Spirits

Other articlesHow to Communicate with Spirits

by Tatjana Bibb

I am fairly certain that this method of communication with spirits can be done by anyone, so long as they have a little patience. What makes this method so simple is that you don't need any candles, crystals, incense and you don't need to get yourself into a special state of mind. You can dowse anywhere and anytime. You won't draw attention to yourself if you don't want people to know what you're doing, because this method is very discreet.

First you need a pendulum. The first one I used was one of the larger paper clips on the end of a thread (the thread being about 3 inches long). But any weight on the end of a thread or string will suffice, but you can make several different ones until you make one that is right for you. Very long lines with very heavy pendulums will respond slower. The paper clip at the end of a thread is good enough (I recommend it for starters as the response time is very good). The one I use is a fishing line sinker on the end of a two and a half inch string.

When you first get started it will be a little slow but it will pick up speed. If you use the paper clip on the end of a thread or needle at the end of a thread, you may see your pendulum appear to vibrate slightly. I have no idea what makes that happen, but it was my experience so you may get similar results. It looks a little spooky if you're not used to it. When I started I didn't expect this to happen.

You must "program" the pendulum to respond by going clockwise for the

answer yes, and counterclockwise for no. Unless you have a good reason to do that vice versa I don't recommend it. Programming is nothing complex, it's just a way of establishing yes and no answers. The pendulum will not do any fancy loop-da-loops or something (at least it's never done that when I was looking), and you are limited to questions that can be answered yes or no. Be careful of asking any question that may have an "I don't know," answer, or a no response, these would also show up as a counter-clockwise motion.

After you get your pendulum to answer simple questions accurately many

times then you are ready to start dowsing messages from the spirit world. I recommend a trial period before doing any serious dowsing. I only think that this will work for all people, I don't know it will work. Don't let yourself get too anxious to get started right away dowsing entire messages. The trial period is for your own benefit. Simple test questions could be like holding the pendulum over water and asking "is this water?", or "Is this orange juice," if the pendulum is working correctly it will move in the right direction. Ask the same question maybe three times to make sure it's not just a coincidence, ask more times if you're not 100% percent sure. The answer should still be the same no matter how many times you ask.

Let's assume after a trial period of a week or two you got the hang of your pendulum; its response time to your question should be no more than a few seconds by now, like five to seven seconds and your pendulum should begin to turn in circles. Side to side motions don't count. If you're worried about your hand moving it slightly just keep testing and practicing until you are positive of the difference between your unsteady hand moving it, a slight breeze moving it, or if it's a genuine response. I recommend you dowse in a place where breeze is not a problem.

Here is the formula for dowsing the messages. If you need to, keep paper and pencil handy to write the letters as you dowse them. You will break up the alphabet into manageable parts. Separate the vowels A,E,I,O,U, and Y. The rest separate into BCD and F, GHJ and K, LMN and P, and QRS and T.

You will have to dowse messages a letter at a time. You can start off by asking if you have a message. The pendulum will respond yes or no.

Then you will need to know how many letters are in the first word of the message. Do this by asking, " is the first word 5 letters long?" 5 being an average word length. The pendulum will respond yes or no. If no, ask if it is less than 5. If yes, then you know the word has to be 4 letters long or shorter. If no, then keep asking 6, 7, 8, until the pendulum tells you you have the right number. Then you will make spaces on your paper for each letter, a little like you're playing hang man.

Now it's time to dowse your first word. Let's just say the first word of the message is YOUR. You will ask the pendulum is the first letter a vowel? In this case the pendulum will turn clockwise for yes. *Then you have eliminated most of the alphabet in one question. Now you know the first letter can only be a AEIOU or Y. So ask until you get a positive response. Fill in the letter. Now it's possible you can guess the word before you finish dowsing it. If that's the case, ask "is the first word 'your'?" and the pendulum will let you know it is, and you can move on to the next word.

For example your second word is "not". You figure out the word's three

letters long. Your first letter is NOT a vowel, so you can figure out which set of letters contains the real first letter. You can ask, "is the first letter BCD or F. The pendulum turns counter-clockwise for no. Say you finally get to the right set or letters LMN or P. The pendulum turns clockwise for yes, so now you have narrowed down the fist letter of the second word to four letters fairly quickly.

One of the first things I used this method for was to dowse my true spirit name. The names our parents give us are not our actual names, we all have a true name, and it's probably a name you've never heard of before. But it's a great first question if you'd like to know. This also works for getting the names of the spirits. Some of the ones I have come to know and speak with often are Kio, Tsin, Leoluow, Giang, and Kiamiot. All names I never heard of before, except for Giang, which I think is a county in Vietnam. So when you do dowse your true name, don't automatically expect to be able to recognize it.

I can not stress enough the importance of a test period. I would never ask a single person to believe every word I say, to do so would be foolish. I am writing this from personal experience, and I have had a few people try it with positive results, but they could have been lying to me so I wouldn't feel bad. In all subjects that can't be proven with concrete irrefutable evidence, only personal experience should be your shield against possible charlatans. I wouldn't ask anyone to treat this article different.

Finally, the pendulum itself is not some divine device, it's a tool that translates subconscious information in terms you can understand. The power that the pendulum appears to display is actually coming from the individual using it.

Be warned, the sprits you communicate with can also be big, fat liars, so don't assume everything they say is true. I would be highly suspicious of any obvious flattery. Some spirits are also very bad spellers. Lastly, some words you dowse may not make any sense, like a string of consonants, don't let that discourage you, just keep trying and normal messages will come back.
